The Smart Home Demo Station is a portable setup designed to educate and train our study participants on how to use various smart home technologies, such as smart video doorbells, locks, thermostats, smart bulbs, window controls, and other smart home devices. It provides hands-on experience with these technologies in a controlled environment, allowing users to familiarize themselves with the functionalities and benefits before integrating them into their own living spaces.The purpose of the station is to educate participants on the available smart home solutions, helping them identify which technologies align with their personal needs and study goals. By interacting with these devices, users can make informed decisions about which smart home features would be most beneficial in their daily lives, enhancing safety, convenience, and overall quality of life. Caregivers and support teams can also be trained on how to remotely monitor and assist their patients effectively.
