Home as a Healthcare Hub | FDA Listening Session

On April 23, 2024, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced a new initiative, Home as a Health Care Hub aimed to help reimagine the home environment as an integral part of the health care system with the goal of advancing health equity for all people in the U.S.   As part of this initiative, a Virtual Public Meeting on 'Home as a Health Care Hub' was held on July 25, 2024 that included presenters from the FDA, the Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA), the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and many other stakeholders from health care, academia, technology development, and manufacturing. We were also in attendance and delivered a short talk entitled "Two Primary Considerations for Transforming a Home into a Healthcare Hub." that you can view below.
